- The deadline for applications is March 31.
- Completion of Casper test is part of the application process. Refer to Admission Requirements for more details.
Official transcript from each post-secondary institution attended (excluding VIU). Deadline: March 31. Photocopies/faxed copies of transcripts are not acceptable.
If you are enrolled in courses away from VIU for the Spring semester (January – April), please ensure that we receive an official transcript showing spring enrollment. A final official transcript must be submitted upon completion of prerequisite courses.
- All course requirements must be completed by April 28.
- Biology and Chemistry courses. For students who completed the Biology and Chemistry admission requirements more than five years before the program admission, the dental hygiene program recommends that students review course material before the start of the program.
- Admission to the Dental Hygiene Diploma program will be determined by a combination of overall GPA and Casper test scores.
If all required documents are submitted, applicants will be notified of the status of their application by late May.
